Faith Child Development Center was established as a part of the ministry of Faith Presbyterian Church in 1984. It is the purpose of the center to serve the community and church family by providing a preschool, daycare and summer camp program with a rich variety of activities and experiences conducted in a Christian atmosphere. All aspects of a child's development will be addressed: social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual. Your child will develop self confidence through the respect of his/her teachers and classmates. With these attitudes, mastery of the early learning skills is made easier.
Special Weekly Activities:
Music - Each week we will include instruction for each class by our music specialist. She will lead them in singing, rhythm, instruments and over-all enjoyment that expression through music can bring every child.
Chapel - Once a week students will gather together for a short worship service. During this time students will praise God through song, gain a better understanding of God's message through the Bible and grow in appreciation of His love for each other.
Cooking - Every week the students will have an enriching experience in cooking. Besides the fun of making their own snacks, these sessions serve to reinforce pre-reading and math skills.
Gymnastics - Students will be taught by our professional gymnastics instructor to help them develop coordination, gross motor skills and self confidence.
Preschool Program
Children must be 18 months old by the start of the preschool year. We offer a variety of programs from part time, 2, 3, & 5 days per week, to full time. Please call for availability and prices.
VPK Program
We now offer an enriching VPK program for eligible children. This is a high quality developmentally rich pre-k full of extracurricular activities to prepare children for kindergarten.
School-age program
We offer daycare activities during teacher work days, holidays, summer camp, and winter/spring breaks. Call for more information.
Summer Camp program
We provide a safe and fun summer camp for students ages 2-12 years. All activities are age-appropriate. Field trips, arts & crafts, and specials are included.
